Brief
The founder of AcuEnergetics^®, Kevin Farrow discovered how to accurately feel the energetic fields around the human body in 1973, when he was 19 years old. He searched for a text to explain how the system worked practically and couldn't find one that was satisfactory. He decided to work out how the energy system worked, prove it in practice and write the book.

He left academic studies of film and oriental religions at University to pursue real life practice in India. After several years further study, he began to formulate and apply the foundational concepts of AcuEnergetics^® (combined with some massage) in his successful clinic in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Along the way to understanding, Kevin studied the classics of Chinese medicine, the ancient Kabbalah texts, the Vedas, the ancient tantric texts of India and Tibet, the alchemical writings of the middle eastern and European philosophers and the teachings of western bioscience pioneers. He also studied and practiced both Buddhist and Taoist Qi Gong, Reiki, various other energy practices and meditation techniques.

In 2000, (as the result and at the conclusion of a dinner party) he started teaching interested friends how the body worked and how to apply this in a treatment situation. This became a regular Monday night fixture and he was gradually persuaded by his friends to expand this into a series of comprehensive trainings in his methods.

In 2001, after the publication of his acclaimed book SkinDeep, Kevin opened The Natural Alchemist shop offering organic skincare and AcuEnergetics^® treatments in Balmain.

The AcuEnergetics^® School was also established in 2001, offering courses from Level 1 'Skills for Living' through to the full practitioner training.

The AcuEnergetics^® Practitioners Training is now in its 6th year. The Australian Association of AcuEnergetics^® Practitioners was founded in 2004.
Also in 2004, Kevin finished the core of the book begun thirty one years before. This book is now the basis of the AcuEnergetics^® Practitioners Training and will soon be published for general readership.

The beautiful purpose built AcuEnergetics^® Centre incorporating an expanded five room clinic, training school, student library and The Natural Alchemist shop and bookstore, was completed in December 2005 and blessed by the Tibetan Buddhist teacher Khandrola. The centre was officially opened in April 2006.
